    Based in Ft. Worth, TX, Lifecycle Biotechnologies has served the life science industry for over 40 years. Lifecycle’s products are the beginning of the lifecycle of the lifesaving and life-enhancing medical products used globally today. As a leading life sciences tools and service supplier, Lifecycle fully understands the critical role its products play in many of the world’s leading pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biologics, cell- and tissue-based products and many other medical products. While Lifecycle’s products aren’t used to diagnose, treat, or cure patients, without their contribution, none of this would be possible.

     

    We’re seeking a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for new and existing customer accounts in our Cellular Agriculture Division, which includes our fastest-growing market last year!

     

    Here’s what you’ll be doing:

    Our Business Development Manager will be responsible for increasing our market presence and share in the Cellular Agriculture Division. Your responsibilities will include managing current customer accounts and working to grow them, as well as prospecting and closing new business. We have a proven process and will provide you with the playbook to success!

     

    At a high level, your responsibility is to development the business and help build the Division! Remember, global territory means HUGE opportunity. Here’s a little more about what your day-to-day will look like:

     

    • Maintaining relationships with existing customer accounts – This means making calls, scheduling visits, and staying on top of their needs
    • Prospecting and creating new business opportunities – including with new and current customers
    • Conduct and document sales activities in our CRM (we use Zoho)
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts within the Cellular Agriculture Division – our product range serves customers from animal genetics, animal health/vaccine manufacturing, to clean meat producers
    • Maintain contact with customers throughout a consultative, relationship-based sales process, including preparing proposals/contracts all the way through close of the sale and beyond 

     

    What you’ll need to succeed:

    • 0-2 years of business development, sales, or marketing experience is preferred – We’ll train you in our processes and proven pathway to success!
    • Experience/background in biology, life sciences, veterinary medicine, or another regulated industry is great, though not required
    • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
    • Ability to thrive in a virtual/remote work environment up to 100% of the time
    • Ability and willingness to travel (mostly within the US) to customer sites
